A big block process map is a type of visual outline that illustrates a process or procedure. The purpose is to give an over view of the major steps and sub steps for that process.

A big block process map is meant to be simple. Most consist of 3 to 5 major steps with each of those containing 3 to 5 sub steps. Each step, represented by a block, has a short description about what happens at that point in the process. Together these steps give a “high level view” of how the process works.

Big block process maps can be used to make a simple outline of a process. These maps can be used to list the basic steps in a procedure. A big block process map can be used as a graphic organizer to help group thoughts or ideas for a writing assignment.

The Big Blocks application is ideal for creating such a visual outline. In Big Blocks each major step in the process is represented by a column. Sub steps within each step are represented by blocks.

Big Blocks will allow you to use your iOS device to create, edit, update, and share big blocks process maps that you design. Features include:
